The Agent of all Agents!

This brief story is about an energetic, thorough, professional, polite, knowledgeable, and honest and “gets The Job Done” real estate agent that I’ve dealt with in the 35 years of buying and selling property. We were on a budget to get a lake front, lake view home/camp in a very nice area. We called Jodie and she had just the place. She met us on a Sunday morning at the lake, showed the property, and explained everything in laymen’s terms. Told us about all the amenities in the area and the ins and outs of buying lakefront property. So, we made an offer, it was accepted. Two weeks later we closed the deal. That means, termite inspection, home inspection, title search and all the other things that have to be coordinated. She even had the numbers for all other utilities, contractors, if needed in the area. Totally Unbelievable. An example, the morning of the inspection, the inspector needed a special fitting to check the water, and I get nervous, look around, there’s her Boss with the fitting. I mean 10 minutes maybe. I don’t how they did it, but they did.

The sell was great, no pressure, just honesty and integrity. I truly believe if you are reading this testimonial now, you should call Jodie Murrain to buy/sell property. Not only did we buy a home on the lake, we have met one of the nicest people in our life time. I’m sure you will feel the same.

This is long, just like Jodee Murrain's stamina, it's worth the read.

Wow! I have bought 3 homes in the past, none like the one I just went through. Get this! I live in Maryland, bought a house in Kentucky and anything that could go wrong, went wrong and then some. The house, I made an offer on, went into foreclosure the day after the offer was received. The offer wasn't enough to cover sales costs and mortgage, so the bank had to get involved in what is called a short sale. It took them 2 1/2 months to approve the sale, then they gave us less than 4 weeks to close of which included Christmas, New Years and Pres. Fords funeral. It's just getting interesting. The mortgage rep. took a long Christmas holiday, didn't order the appraisal until she returned, with the settlement only 3 business days away. The appraiser, turned home inspector, condemned anything he didn't know about. The bank wanted a structural engineer to certify the foundation, due to a surface crack in a ceiling, a licensed plumber to certify the plumbing and same for the electrical (because they were not on when he inspected). The bank couldn't understand why there wasn't a propane tank for the decorative fireplace on the property, even though they are leased, etc. The cost of the above would exceed 5% of the selling price of the home, which was about 8 years old and was in excellent condition.

During the above Jodee Murrian was with us every step of the way. When I called it quits, she found a local lender, who approved the loan on the spot, convinced the sellers bank to extend the settlement 3 more weeks, and sent me home. We were to handle the closing through the mail. All went well until I messed up by not signing the new deed before I expressed it back to the bank. Closing was the next day, it needed mine and my wife's signature with notary. We were 620 miles away. Jodee drove and met us half way, (10 pm) we signed, she notarized. It all happened and we now own the home. Jodee also arranged for a property manager for us and a landscaper to prepare the property for rent.

She never complained, never gave up on anything, always had a positive attitude, always offered to help.

SHE'S NOT JUST GREAT, SHE'S THE BEST YOU CAN GET!
